Observing Life Through Death

Documents the spaces, traces and places of death. These images aim to provide an unsentimental journey into the places where deceased peoples are processed, investigated and interned.

(Collection of digital photographic prints  20cm x 30cm)

'Observing Life through Death' takes the camera into the crematorium, the funeral home and the head stone manufacturer. Photographs aimed to focus on content and details of these places in an unsentimental way: to represent the commercialism, environs, pathos and empathy of the death industry through a series of images in the absence of human activity.
